LIVING ROOM REFURBISHMENT - HOW MUCH?!?

WHAT DOES IT COST TO REFURBISH A LIVING ROOM?
In the past few months we’ve gone over the cost for refurbishing a bathroom as well as a bedroom. As I mentioned in those posts, not everything needs to be a luxury purchase in order to make a room feel special. You can mix and match pieces to create a living room you love with some careful planning.
If you’re unsure about where to splurge in the living room, consider the upholstered pieces like sofas and chairs. These should all be well constructed. It’s a good investment to splurge on these pieces and in return you’ll have them for a very long time.
The comfort and durability of the fabric is important for maintaining and enjoying the piece but the real difference in quality comes in the frame construction as well as the quality of the fillings.
A well-constructed frame made with quality timber, preferably FSC certified, along with a traditionally upholstered or high quality foam seat and back on more modern pieces, will allow you to keep the item for the longest possible time without cracks or sagging. With appropriate care it can continue to look brand new for years to come.
